Afton State Park Engagement Photos | Minnesota Wedding Photographer
Charlee and I “met” via Skype for her consultation last fall, and I still remember talking to her for over an hour! As I asked her about her wedding plans, I instantly appreciated how much love and energy she was pouring into the details of her day. You all probably know by now that I am a bit of a detail fanatic!
The venue that Charlee and her fiancé Zach chose was especially meaningful – the fabulous Carpenter Nature Center was a place she visited on field trips, as a kid! Both natives of Hastings, this couple chose to keep their engagement session close to home as well. We began on her grandparents property and ended our session at Afton State Park. Their session took place during the peak of the Minnesota fall colors, and they even incorporated personal touches like a wooden sign, as well as this fantastic legacy brick below (what Zach used to propose to Charlee — they are avid Vikings fans!)
Congratulations to Zach & Charlee, I cannot wait to photograph your wedding next June!
